Communiqué from the 47th APPA Forum in Australia
The 47th APPA Forum was hosted by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 10 – 11 July 2017. Built around the theme of ‘interoperability’, APPA 47 continued to encourage partnerships and collobation in support of privacy regulation in the global digital age. Across the two days, APPA members and invited speakers discussed a range of contemporary topics including: data breach notification schemes; privacy law reform; de-identification and emerging techniques; big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data protection.
